Education is Key for Cannabis Consumers

The majority of the U.S. population favors legalization of cannabis and more and more people are seeing strong benefits of the cannabis plant and its ingredients. 

One of the key factors that will drive strong growth and responsible use of cannabis by adults is education. Consumers need information to understand how cannabis can help them achieve their consumption goals, whether it be for medical or recreational use. Three key areas drive education for cannabis consumers: research, testing, and delivery of information.

Research

Not enough research has been done on the effects of cannabis due to the fact that it has been on the “List of Schedule 1 Drugs.” Yes we have some understanding of cannabinoids, terpenes, and other ingredients in cannabis, but far more research is required to capture the potential benefits of this incredible plant.
